Description One of the coolest things about the classic car hobby is the attention to detail and the amount of creativity put into these cars. Some of these builds take years or even decades to complete, and just when you think you’ve seen it all, another amazing car catches your eye and knocks your socks off. This 1965 Chevrolet Nova is a stare producing machine with a custom interior with one of the straightest and most impressive bodies in our Vanguard Motor Sales showroom. This Nova had a fresh restoration in 2008. Once the exceptionally straight all steel body panels were properly aligned and prepped, the car was covered in two-tone silver and red paint. All of the bodywork and paint was done by Randy Church. That beautiful paint job serves the handsome sharp-edged lines of the car very well and further emphasizes the conservative, clean look that these cars are known and loved for. At the front of the car sits a beautiful body-width chrome bumper. At the edges of the car are two pristine headlights, housed within the grille. At the sides of the car you will find the super straight panels. The top of the car features clear glass all around. Stainless and chrome around the windows shines perfectly to match the door handles, wipers and driver’s side mirror. At the rear of the car, a second full width chrome bumper shines with the same quality shine as the front bumper. Raise the straight, glossy hood to you’ll see that this Nova has performance to back up its good looks. The highly detailed engine bay houses a 355 cubic inch motor. This Nova utilizes Dart heads, a steel crank, Griffin aluminum radiator, MDS ignition and an Interstate Mega-Tron Plus battery. All of that power comes with excellent road manners and guaranteed starts. The engine bay in this Nova is completely spotless. It looks tough, is well done and is certain to be a star at any show you attend. Underneath the car, you’ll find a 350 3-speed transmission, sending power to a Moser 410 gear rear end, out of Moser Indiana. The cars chassis is extremely clean as well. Sit inside this Nova and check out its completely custom interior done by PJ’s Trim Shop in Imlock. The gray seats show no wear at all, and have seatbelts for everyone. In front of the seats, a custom body matched dash houses white faced gauges next to the cars traditional chrome headlight and wiper knobs and a functional direct fit AM/FM radio and cassette player that is decorated with chrome bowties. Underneath the dash, aftermarket volt, oil pressure and water temperature gauges look right at home. A custom chrome console sits between the seats houses a shifter which is surrounded by a matching gray boot and armrest. Below the console, clean carpet matches the beautiful tight fitting headliner. Custom door panels look excellent against upper body matched borders and feature chrome handles and stainless trim. Out back, the trunk is custom upholstered to match the interior. This tough 1965 Nova takes ‘clean’ to a new level and is certain to be a star anywhere you go. It’s a spectacular build with reliable drivetrain that’s ready to hit the road for Friday night cruises, Saturday poker runs or Sunday shows. If you’re looking for a car that is perfect cruise night eye candy and has performance to back up its good looks, this Chevy II belongs in your driveway. Description 1966 CHEVY NOVA SUPER SPORT. This is a number 118 super sport. it has a 3970010 number motor which checks out to be a 1974 high performance 350 4-bolt main engine which says it is a 370h.p. stock engine. It does have a cam and other work done inside the motor. As per pictures, the motor is pretty much chromed out. Car has bucket seats with a 350 automatic transmission in the floor. Paint is an older paint job, but still has a nice shine to it. Car has been driven to car shows/cruises so does have a few flaws in the paint. Have just replaced with new radiator, new coil springs, tie rod ends (inners and outers), new front brake shoes, new wheel bearings, wheel bearings packed, new rear brakes, new front shocks, front end aligned, new rally wheels and BF Goodrich tires (1000 mi. on tires). Interior is in good shape - no tears. Has new outside door handles. Speedometer does not work. AM radio does not work at this time-have not checked it out as yet. Car has new battery in it as well.
