A preschool teacher needs to have a lesson plan template to make generating lesson plans prompt, consistent and completely structured. A lesson plan is only as strong and practical as the elements in the lesson.

In preschool, there is a precise lesson planning process that requires adherence in order to achieve properly educational lessons. Using a template allows for consistency as well as meeting these two standards.

There are five segments to a preschool lesson plan template: a daily schedule, an observation list, an environment chart, a family involvement block, and a preparation block. The template should be two-sided to save paper and have the daily schedule and the observation list on the front with the last three portions on the back.
